A Powerball ticket sold in New Jersey that won the $221 million jackpot in Monday night’s lottery drawing was purchased at a Camden County convenience store

The lucky Powerball winner made the purchase at Preet Food Mart on Chews Landing Road in Lindenwold in Camden County, New Jersey, lottery officials said Tuesday.

Monday’s winning Powerball numbers were: 3, 10, 33, 58 And 59. The Powerball drawn was 9 with a Powerplay of 2x.

The Powerball ticket was the only ticket sold nationwide with five numbers plus the Powerball and has an estimated cash option of $104.7 million.

The Lindenwold store will receive $30,000.

The Powerball jackpot had grown since a ticket purchased in Florida reached Florida’s $214.9 million jackpot on May 6.

Nationwide, no tickets won second prize in Monday’s drawing. No tickets for the third prize, $50,000, were sold in New Jersey.

The big Powerball win is New Jersey’s second multi-state lottery jackpot of the year. Someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket at ShopRite in Neptune Township won the massive $1.13 billion prize on March 26. It is the largest prize ever won in New Jersey and the eighth in the history of the American lotteries.

Before Monday, the last time anyone in New Jersey won a Powerball jackpot was January 30, 2021.

A player who bought a ticket at QuickChek on Ridgedale Avenue in the Cedar Knolls section of Hanover won the $33.2 million prize that night. The winner claimed the prize anonymously. According to Powerball officials, the ticket had a cash option of $24.8 million.

It was the second week in a row that a jackpot-winning Powerball ticket was purchased in North Jersey. Someone who bought a ticket at a Clifton convenience store won the $23.3 million jackpot on January 23, 2021.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has a 1 in 11,688,053 chance of matching five numbers and winning at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning a third prize of at least $50,000.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $30 million with a $13.9 million cash option.
