Slashing seriously injures a man in downtown Omaha

Police have not made any arrests at this time.

Omaha police responded Tuesday to a laceration that left one man with serious injuries. Officers responded around 1:54 p.m. and Howard responded around 4:54 a.m. Police say the victim, identified as 34-year-old Luke Aguirre, was cut and then showed up at Cubby’s near South 13th and Jackson Street. Authorities said he was bleeding profusely from his head. Aguirre told officers he was involved in an argument when the suspect cut him with a box cutter, Omaha police said. Omaha police responded to a cut that seriously injured one man on Tuesday.

Officers responded around 4:54 a.m. near 13th and Howard

Police say the victim, identified as 34-year-old Luke Aguirre, was cut off and then showed up at Cubby’s near South 13th and Jackson Street. Authorities said he was bleeding profusely from his head.

Aguirre told officers he was involved in an argument when the suspect cut him with a box cutter, Omaha police said.

He was transported to hospital due to his injuries. No arrests have been made.
