Sonakshi Sinha Wedding: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and her long-time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal are reportedly getting married on June 23. While the duo remained tight-lipped about the wedding details, the theme for their wedding has been revealed.

Sonakshi’s marriage details

According to the Times of India, the couple’s wedding will take place at the luxurious Bastian – At the Top in Mumbai, where close friends and family members will gather for an intimate and grand affair. According to the report, the dress code for the event is ‘festive and formal’, ensuring a stylish and lively celebration.

The couple will reportedly have a Sangeet ceremony in Mumbai on June 19. Their Sangeet ceremony will be a bonding affair. The wedding ceremony will take place on the morning of June 23, followed by a lavish reception in the evening.

Wedding invitation and planning

According to the report, the unique wedding invitation, designed to resemble a magazine cover, playfully confirms the rumors of their marriage with the tagline: “the rumors are true.”

Planning for the wedding has been going on for a while and the family is waiting until after the recent elections to focus on preparations. Sonakshi’s father, actor and MP Shatrughan Sinha, won his seat from Asansol, West Bengal, making the wedding a double celebration for the family.

Sohail and Zaheer, who have been dating for quite some time, have also worked together in the 2022 film ‘Double XL’ starring Huma Qureshi.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha reacted to the wedding report and said that he is not aware of this development. “She didn’t tell me about it. Main bhi utna hi jaanta hu jitna main media maine padha hai (I only know as much as I can about the media I read). If and when she confides in me, my wife and I will give the couple my blessings. We wish her happiness always,” he told Times Now.

He further said that he is waiting to hear from Sonakshi about the wedding. “People around me ask me why I am not aware of this and the media is aware of this. All I can say is: aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maap-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain (these days (children don’t take permission from their parents, they just inform).
